Capiozzo & Mecco return after their first album Whisky a Go Go” (IRMA 2003), which already saw in it between various guest guitarist Daniel Santimone and Mario Biondi voice.
The trio composed by Christian Capiozzo on drums, Mecco Guidi on organ and keyboards, Daniel Santimone on guitar, boasts
collaborations with international artists for the recognizable sound and the harmony that brings them to embrace various musical styles
with great personality.
Among the many remember Jimmy Owens, historic American trumpet player, who chose them to accompany him on a permanent basis in
various tours and in the making of the album “Peaceful Walking”.
Much tracks of “Whisky a Go Go” have been used for soundtracks and jingles of TV programs and TV series, including
Sex & the City.
The trio after performing in festivals and clubs, from Novokuzniech in Siberia to the historic Blue Note in New York
returns with a new album “Movie Soundtrack Experience”, an album recorded entirely in analog, it consists of 10
original tracks, a mixture of Soul, Funk and Jazz.
The title evokes the desire to compose songs inspired by the film music, which has influenced the back ground of many
generations, honoring great composers who are now part of the history of cinema music.
The album sees inside various guests and introduces a new “Experiment” of the group that sent him into a musical journey
with a greater awareness and experience.
