Recycle Records was born in Lecce (South of Italy), from an idea of Guido Nemola and Andrea Santoro (Santorini). In 2007 Recycle started as a digital label on Beatport with the help of Dandi&Ugo and Piatto (Italobusiness), releasing minimal-techno and deep house and celebrating the musical history of Chicago and Detroit. In 2008 Luigi Scrimitore from Lausanne (Switzerland) joined the family, bringing Recycle in an international contest: Recycle become a “melting pot“ between different musical cultures. Recycle published tracks of producers like Santorini, Limo, Playane, To Be Different, Loaded, Fabio Giannelli, Dario Lotti, Guido Nemola from Italy, David Durango, Ramon Lorenzo, Masaya, Stéphane Attias, Stoergerausche, Luca Torre from Switzerland, Dani Casarano, Felipe Valenzuela, Boris Castro, Felipe Venegas from Chile, Rhadow and Luca M from Romania, Tim Schumacher from Germany. In 2009 Recycle started a partnership with Irma Records, the most famous label in Italian’s house history, releasing vinyls and CDs. Recycle’s tracks have been supported from Jeff Samuel, Matthias Kaden, Martin Eyerer, Luciano Esse, Someone Else, Robin Porter, Xpansul, Davide Squillace, Mark Henning, Lars Wickinger, Jurgen Kirsch, Micha Klang, Kenny Leaven, Ralf, Alex Neri, Luca Agnelli, Marco Resmann, Minimono, Ripperton, Dan Curtin, Bloody Mary, Uto Karem, Fabio Giannelli, Mirko Loco, Luciano, Shinedoe, Mihalis Safras, Ali Kuru, Raynold, Prudo, Sossa, Felipe Venegas. Digital Culture vol.1 is the first official compilation of the label selected by Guido Nemola and Santorini. Together with the double cd will be release some promo vinyl singles with differentn and unreleased mixes and remixes.
