In almost forty years of career Giuseppe Milici, harmonica player and composer from Palermo, has faced different musical languages, collaborating internationally with dozens of artists, from Laura Fygi to Toots Thielemans, from Gino Paoli to Gigi D’Alessio and Dirotta su Cuba, or expressing himself as a soloist as author and performer of film soundtracks, in some of the major Italian television broadcasts, from the Sanremo Festival to Fantastico, as well as signing successful fiction.
In this new album, Milici presents his fourth project, a tribute to the artists he loves most and who have most influenced him. After Beatles, Bacharach and Michael Jackson Milici pays tribute to the great Ennio Morricone by presenting some of his most representative compositions such as:
• Deborah’s Theme from the film Once Upon a Time In America
• Per Le Antiche Scale based on the film of the same name
• Sean Sean from the movie Giù La Testa
• Gabriel’s Oboe from the movie Mission
• Playing Love from the film The Legend of 1900
• The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly from the film of the same name
• Once Upon A time In America based on the film of the same name
• Se Telefonando
• Metti Una Sera A Cena taken from the film of the same name
