GREENLAB – Artificial garden

GreenLab is a project born from the encounter of three  musicians and producers Simone Galgano (synths and programming), Federico Mazzoli (bass and synth) and Roberto Leprotti (drums, synths and programming). After the positive feedback at international level, received with their first LP “Echosystem” (2008 IRMA / ONE EYED FISH), for the release of “Artificial Garden” (2012 IRMA records) GreenLab cooperated with Liverpool’s vocalist Leza Boyland, emerging underground phenomenon already known for a recent Single released on the ‘Crosstown Rebel’ label that also saw the sublime Top Dj Deniz Kurtel (NY) involved in the Production. Guests of prestigious stages at  international music festivals, fine dinner clubs and chill out events of all kinds, GreenLab always captivate with their eclectic “Space Funk” elaborated rhythmic Trip Hop, space sounds and solid bass grooves. “Artificial Garden” is an album which includes a vast array of collaborations, the above mentioned wonderful voice of Leza Boyland (masterly recorded by Frank Nemola, Musician, Studio Engineering and Producer), the superlative guitars of Cosimo Giglio (aka COSMAX, now based in China) and Domenico Canzoniero (aka Pineal) also appearing, helping with the sound of the hypnotic Didjeridoo, Gabriele Gubbelini (aka ORGANIC SHAPES / Tubus in Fabula) and the skilful mixing of Nicholas Bavaro, the Album does take a dimension sound that becomes both powerful and engaging.
