Hot, Funky & Sweaty is an album that goes from the Sixties Soul and Rythm & Blues of Memphis, Philadelphia, Chicago and Detroit – with a raid into New Orleans and New York – to the Blues and Funk of the early Seventies with Jamaican and Jazz influences. Paying homage to Freddy & The Kinfolk, Boogaloo Jones, Baby Huey, The Meters, Jackie Mittoo, Duke Ellington, Lee Morgan and many
others… The Smoke Orchestra is formed by
• Riccardo Jeeba Gibertini: trumpet
• Marco Zaghi: sax
